Autumn is just around the corner which means the end is in sight. It's without doubt been the biggest summer Ibiza has ever seen and therefore the island's Closing Parties are going to be one for the history books. From Paradise to Pyramid, Ants to Afterlife and Flower Power to Fisher... here is our pick of the biggest final fiestas to look out for.
DnB was given a brand new home in Ibiza this summer and Louder at Eden was match made in heaven. Providing numerous up and coming names in the scene with their ibiza debut.
It was also a firm favourite with island legend Chase & Status as they become weekly residents mid-way through the summer.
We can’t leave one of our own closing parties out can we? Year 5 on the White Isle and year 5 at Ibiza Rocks for Craig David’s TS5. It remains the biggest pool party on the island so you just know Craig’s going to bring some special for the closing on the 20th of this month.
It was never in any doubt that Fisher headlining his own night at the world’s number 1 club was going to be one of the most popular events on the island. Love him or hate him, the man know’s how to throw a party and his track with Shermanlogy ‘It’s A Killa’ has been in our heads (and everyone’s) heads all summer.
The Aussie will be playing all night long in the iconic Theatre room for the closing but will certainly worth popping into the Club room for Vintage Culture who’ll be playing an extended set also.

Not only will he be joined on stage by Rocks regulars Matt Saxx (saxophone), IAMSAM (drums) & Missin Lync (Host MC), making it levels above any normal DJ set… but supporting will be rapper and online personality Yung Filly, Belters Only featuring Jazzy to perform ‘Make Me Feel Good’ and goddard., the man behind the biggest DnB track of the summer. Due to Privilege not opening this summer, Michael Bibi & co. had to find a new home for 2022, many wouldn’t have thought the iconic underground venue would have been the right fit but it’s been an absolute hit the season with it being a regular for workers and residents on the island.
The full line-up has been announced with ‘Secret Guests’, so certainly Grooves aren’t holding back for their first DC-10 Closing… imagine the afters for this one.
‘The local’ for many of our members of staff. Defected is just a guaranteed good night out and with Eden’s new layout with the stage on the same level as the dancefloor, you feel as though you can reach out and touch the DJs.
Founder and CEO of Defected Simon Dunmore hands over the reigns after leading the record label for 23 years and will be part of a wholesome final line-up at the end of September.
On Saturdays we wear black. You’ll struggle to find anyone that doesn’t have ‘Ants at Ushuaïa’ on their Ibiza weekend itinerary.
Easily the biggest tech house event on the island, daytime or nightime, as everyone flocks to the open-air venue to become part of the colony.
A personal fave for the Ibiza Rocks team this summer having hosted Gorgon City and Sonny Fodera many times in previous years. If you’re into your lyrical house and tech house then look no further than Monday’s at Amnesia.
For the Closing the pair will be going b2b… we can certainly imagine this one going beyond the 6am curfrew. See you there!
The masked magician Claptone was trusted with the Saturday night slot at iconic Ibiza club ‘Pacha’ this summer after previously hosting The Masquerade on Mondays.
One of the last parties on the calendar this season and the line-up is still to be announced but over the weeks we’ve seen the likes of Fatboy Slim, Pete Tong, Armand Van Helden, Hannah Wants & Paul Woolford all pop in so the closing should be a good one.
