Carl Cox arrives at UNVRS for Summer 2025 5 April 2025

The most unexpected announcement of the Ibiza season so far: UNVRS (formerly Privilege) has revealed a major coup—Carl Cox will be playing on Sundays this summer from 22nd June – 21st September. Since the iconic closure of Space in October 2016, Cox hasn’t run his own residency on the island, a place many associate him with. While he’s had shorter stints and one-off shows at venues like Privilege and DC-10, his last performance on the island was in 2022, making his return to the “world’s first hyperclub” all the more monumental.

As for UNVRS, this marks its second major residency announcement for 2025. Following the news that Elrow will be shifting its Saturday residency from Amnesia, there’s speculation that David Guetta might also make the move to UNVRS, especially after Joseph Capriati was confirmed for the Friday slot at Hi Ibiza. It truly feels like we’re entering one of the most exciting eras in Ibiza’s club calendar in years.
