Yes surprisingly, there’s actually no ‘official’ opening party weekend in the Ibiza calendar or a typical weekend for you to look out for. Over the years each and every venue’s first fiestas of the season have varied throughout the month of May, and has even crept into the final weekend of April in recent years.
The International Music Summit plays a big part in when the island comes alive from the Winter so we would keep an eye out for then that is announced, as we expect a lot of the superclubs to follow suit.
To cut a long story short, there’s probably 4 key weekends to look out for when it comes to Ibiza Opening Parties; 27th – 29th April (Bank Holiday Weekend), 4th – 5th May (that’s our opening party weekend), 18th – 20th May & 25th – 27th May (Bank Holiday Weekend).
