With everything from house and commercial dance to R&B, rock and indie, there’s a bar for pretty much every kind of night out. It’s easy to hop from one to the next, with plenty of food spots nearby for the inevitable 2am refuel.
Just down towards the waterfront, you’ll also find Ibiza Rocks Bar, Ítaca and Linekers, where daytime drinks have a habit of becoming nighttime drinks. The West End might be famous, but it’s famous for a reason.
If you’re looking for San Antonio nightlife, this is the obvious place to start. Your bank account may not thank you. Your legs probably will.
THE SUNSET STRIP San Antonio
If the West End is where you go for the party, the Sunset Strip is where you go to watch the sky show off. Just a 5-minute walk from Ibiza Rocks Hotel, this stretch of San Antonio waterfront is home to some of Ibiza’s most famous sunset spots, including Café Mambo and Café del Mar.
Grab a table for cocktails and front-row sunset views, or do it the local way: supermarket tinnies, rocks by the water and absolutely no shame. As the sun goes down, the music turns up, with DJs and waterfront venues keeping things moving long after sunset.
It’s the perfect place to end a day — or your entire holiday — with your mates, a drink in hand and everyone pretending they’re not getting emotional.
Top tip: Check the sunset time before you head down and arrive early. The sun waits for nobody.
PLAYA D’EN BOSSA
Over on Ibiza’s east coast, Playa d’en Bossa is home to some of the island’s biggest names, including Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza. It’s also got its own mini nightlife strip, with plenty of bars, restaurants and late-night spots around the main resort.
If you’re staying at Ibiza Rocks Hotel in San Antonio, it’s roughly a 25-minute taxi ride, so it’s not exactly popping out for a pint. Our verdict? Worth the journey if you’re heading to one of the superclubs — less so if you’re just looking for a casual night out.
IBIZA TOWN
An honorary mention, but Ibiza Old Town is one you really shouldn’t skip. Dalt Vila brings the history and postcard views, while the surrounding streets are packed with restaurants, bars and shops — so there’s plenty to do once you’ve finished pretending you came purely for the culture.
Head to the waterfront for drinks overlooking the yachts, or wander the narrow streets and discover everything from cocktail bars to late-night spots. It’s roughly a 25-minute drive from Ibiza Rocks Hotel, making it an easy option for an evening away from San Antonio.
Fine dining, sightseeing, shopping and cocktails. Basically, a very well-rounded night out.
