TEENAGE CANCER TRUST
Ibiza Rocks are proud to support Teenage Cancer Trust a charity devoted to improving the lives of teenagers and young adults with cancer.
Every day in the UK six young people are told they have cancer. At a time when your body is changing, your social life is everything and youre still trying to figure out who you are, getting cancer can seem like an impossible blow to take. One minute lifes about music, clothes, computer games, college and hanging out with mates. The next minute life is on hold and theyre in a hospital ward with no-one their age and feeling very isolated. But thanks to Teenage Cancer Trust, thousands of young people are taking it, and coming out fighting.
The charity fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals where teenagers are treated together in an environment designed specifically for young people. There are currently 16 of these units across the UK but they need more so that every single teenager and young adult has access to one. Money raised through this partnership will bring Teenage Cancer Trust one step closer to this vision.
Ibiza Rocks are running a number of fundraising initiatives across their events including guest list donations and signed memorabilia auctions from this years line-up.
