Our latest venture is taking over a rustic boutique hotel in Ibiza called Pikes. Unarguably it’s one of the world’s most decadent, rock and roll lodgings, Pikes was put on the musical map by providing the set to Wham’s infamous Club Tropicana video. Soon after its release stars started flocking, eagerly wanting to experience firsthand lounging by the pool with cocktails (ala an 18 year old adonis George Michael), and bask in the sun, sand, and scantily clad sights, which make up this magical island of Ibiza.
But there isn’t just one Club Tropicana video in existence. Rocksblog can exclusively reveal there are three!
George Michael returned to Pikes a year later and reshot one for his own personal collection.
And when Ibiza Rocks held a gig here in 2007 with We Are Scientists, we got them to do a remake, and it’s hilarious!
